FROM THE PRESIDENT

Lisa King
33nd Chapter President
(2023-2025)

During this our 70th Anniversary, we celebrate of legacy of friends working together to provide excellence in community service. In March 1951 nine friends, as diverse and dynamic as our current membership, created the framework and forged the path that has fueled Charleston Chapter ever since; an organization of extraordinary women, committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

The pandemic has affected all of us and forced us to re-imagine our service to the community and how we engage. But in true Links fashion, we did not panic, we pivoted – providing virtual programming, forging partnerships to address those in need and particularly impacted by the pandemic.

How do we do it?
